As soon as the sixth season of popular American period drama Mad Men has started, almost everything from the 1960s is back in vogue again, including the vintage fashion trends.

Pittsburgh’s Senator John Heinz History Center is going to host a special fashion show featuring the vintage-inspired styles and looks of 1960s.

The show will display nearly 100 mod, boho chic, rock, hippie and Mad Men style pieces from locally and nationally famous brands like Highway Robbery, ModCloth, Haute Vibe, Hey Betty, TranquiliT Reclaimed Vintage and Lana Neumeyer.

Scheduled to take place on April 12, 2013, the event titled 60s Fashion Show is a part of the ongoing exhibition ‘1968: The Year That Rocked America’ in the same venue.

The exhibition offers information on the major historical events that took place in 1968’s America, including the Vietnam War, assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, Apollo 8 mission, the emergence of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin as well as Pittsburgh icon Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
