Kuwait invited to participate in Damascus textile fair

Damascus Textile industry fair being sponsored by Syrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is scheduled to open in Damascus, Thursday, to showcase latest fashion trends for 2006 spring and summer seasons.
The organizing committee called upon Kuwait to participate in this fair along with its fashion companies.
About 240 Syrian textile and fashion companies along with 15 European clothing companies are expected to display their products.
Necessary arrangements for participants to transport their wares to Syria for participating at the fair has been made, informed Rateb Al Shallah, President of Syrian Chamber of Commerce.
Clothing exports are in high volumes and the fair is expected to boost sales of men's wear, women's wear and children's wear further, to contribute to Syria's economy, he added.
