Cal Safety Compliance Corporation (CSCC) and ASAP Show Inc are teaming up to bring Bangladesh into the spotlight of social responsibility at 'Social Compliance in Bangladesh: Exploring Persistent Challenges and New Developments' in Dhaka on February 28, 2006.

Shirin Akhter, President of Karmojibi Nari, and Marin Boehm, Chief Representative of Karstadt Quelle (Far East) & Co expand on their involvement in the MFA Forum in Bangladesh in the session "NGO and Trade Union Response to Phase-Out of MFA."

The MFA Forum is a multi-stakeholder initiative established by NGOs, trade unions, and retailers to improve working conditions in Bangladesh after the collapse of Spectrum Garments.
