Milan is staging fashion shows by four young fashion talents in the on going fashion week.

Organisers hope to put Milan back on the fashion scene of the world.

Milan fashion has heavyweights from Gucci to Prada, but it has to increasingly contend with Paris, New York and London for attention of world's media and top buyers.

Organisers reveal that their new and upcoming designers will help boost the city's profile and provide a launching pad for young talents similar to London's fashion scene.

Italian Bianca Gervasio works as a consultant at fashion house Mila Schon, creating hand-made unique pieces different from major collections.

In the Milan debut, her models wore breathy chiffon dresses and separates with rubber boots and glass bubble tiaras.

The collection also included bowling ball handbags and a dramatic silver satin dress with a folded collar and a black, kidney-shaped wrap, worn with metallic wellingtons.
