Designer Rossella Tarabini's main Anna Molinari line of elegant wrap coats and girly dresses with Blumarine collection was an instant success.

The designer's line also included fine long lace dresses contrasted with chunky cardigans, sleeveless tops and sexy bodices along with elegant fur trimmed coats.

Belted waist length and long fur coats were the prominent features of the show.

For evening wear, the designer brought in daring gold lame numbers with above knee-high suede boots.

Gucci's Frida Giannini introduced a short-and-sexy 70s-inspired collection that brought back the glam rock era.

Giannini became the first designer to hold the full creative reins at Gucci giving her controlof menswear after the departure of John Ray.

Her first womenswear collection, had a mixed response, but the gold-and-glitter show received a thunderous applause from buyers as well as the fashion media.

It had models in liquid gold halter-neck mini dresses and androgynous white trouser suits with waspish waists, worn over metallic platform stilettos.

Gucci fan could take a pick from crocodile biker jackets or fluid tiger-striped dresses in purples and pinks worn with coloured tights.

Roberto Cavalli had his Just Cavalli line having a collection, which included short kimonos and extravagant fur-cuffed embroidered coats.
