ITGME 2006 receives tremendous response

Four-day International Textile Technology & Machinery Expo (ITGME) 2006 concluded on Monday at Codissia Trade Fair Complex.

The expo generated good response with business inquiries reaching Rs500-crore mark.

This never-before event had showcased complete range of machinery, from spinning to finishing, required to establish a spinning mill.

Most importantly, the China pavilion had pulled a host of visitors coming to watch enthusiastic display of machinery by Chinese participants.

About 50 stalls showcasing Chinese machinery and products for spinning, spinning-related functions, weaving and knitting had been put up at the expo.

Some of the major Chinese players like Shanghai Machtronic, China Texmach, Jingwi and Picanal had displayed their products at the expo.

Countries like Belgium, Italy, the United States, Germany and Singapore had also put up their stalls.
