Self-sustaining, member-driven association Apparel BC informed that MK Collections featuring Mala Kuja and Friends is the first showroom to represent local designers to local, national and international buyers.

MK Collections is jurying both accessory and clothing designers for their limited showroom space. Designers must have fall samples, the capability to produce those samples for different delivery dates and commit to quantities, and it must all be ready for display in the showroom by March 15, 2006.

The process begins with a three month trial period. And the answer to your burning question, how much will it cost? $100/month showroom fee + 15 percent Commission on Jewelry/Accessories or $100/month showroom fee + 12 percent commission on Clothing.

These fees include exposure during buying week in Vancouver (March 15-March 23), sales staff, follow-up, exposure to buyers from the USA, group promotions, sample sales, possibility of retail/consignment through the Mala Kuja boutique, exposure to stylists from ION, Vancouver View, Fashion Magazine, and more, plus the potential for piggybacking for big tradeshows in the States through the Canadian Apparel Federation.
