“Working with HollyNorth has been an exceptional opportunity”, states BC Fashion Week Executive Creative Director Vladimir Markovich. “The creativity and innovation of this talented team, along with our other valued partners, has been a complete pleasure to work with. For us at BC Fashion Week, one of our main goals is being able to all work together to deliver our signature high standard, professional productions for our great Canadian designers”, Markovich continued.
With the final lineup including Mara Gottler, Shelly Klassen for Blushing Designs, Anna Kosturova, Revelation by Rubina Anjum, David Dixon, Tiger of Sweden, Vata Brasil, and DC Women along with returning designers Rozemerie Cuevas for JC Studio, Pierre Jale, Jason Matlo, Christina Culver for Christina Darling and Chloe Angus, the stage and schedule is set for a week showcasing Fall/Winter 2006 individual designer collections.
In addition to the industry events at the Scotiabank Dance Centre, the week kicks off with a seminar series held on Tuesday, April 4th. With leading edge speakers covering topics as rich and diverse as trend forecasting for Fall/Winter 2007, to incorporating e-strategy into a marketing plan, the day will be full of valuable insights and topics.
A component of the day will be a roundtable discussion on incorporating the press into a communication plan, including corporate social responsibility into a business plan and a roundtable discussion on metrosexuality.
