The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has organized the 'Assistant Symposium', exploring the Syrian textile industry and was held yesterday in Damascus, Syria
Kazuhide Nagasawa, Resident Representative of JICA in Syria, said that strong relations between Japan and Syria since 1970s will be further developed.
Various study and research reports were then presented by the JICA along with suggestions and plans to improvise textile industry.
Laham also informed that Ministry of Industry will hold a workshop on the Textile Industries in Syria in the northern city of Aleppo from March 29.
Conference claimed the setting up of an overall reform plan to the manufacturing system allied with the General Company of Textiles and emphasize on efficiency of profitability and costs as well as enhancing entrance to the European markets.
