Women of Influence attracts reputed personae

The annual Women of Influence luncheon was once again held in Melbourne, on Friday, March 3.

Hosted by Deborah Thomas, Editor-In-Chief of The Australian Women's Weekly, and Naomi Milgrom, Chair and CEO of the Sussan Group the event was attended by some of the most successful and highly regarded women in Australia including: Mrs Lynne Landy, wife of the Governor of Victoria, Mrs Terry Bracks, wife of Victorian Premier Steve Bracks; The Honourable Mary Delahunty MP, Minister for the Arts; The Honourable Marsha Thomson, Minister for Information and Communication Technology and Small Business; designers Jenny Bannister and Adele Palmer; singer Rhonda Burchmore; National Nine News presenter Jo Hall; Lillian Frank; author and model Tara Moss; Patti Newton; Temptation's Livinia Nixon; Crown Casino's Anne Peacock; and Myer CEO Dawn Robertson, and was hosted by The Australian Women's Weekly Editor-At-Large Deborah Hutton.

Singer and TV star, Marcia Hines was the guest speaker at the luncheon and interviewed by Deborah Thomas on women she finds inspirational, as well as the challenge of coming to Australia at a young age and being a single mother.

Sussan hosted a unique fashion show influenced by the film Dr Zhivago, which was styled by Jane de Teliga – Style Director of the Australian Women's Weekly and showcased the stunning new looks from their latest collection.
