The Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) is pleased to announce the final four emerging designers competing in this year's annual TFI New Labels event presented by Target.

After a rigorous six month competition, a curated panel of judges have narrowed down the participants to four hand-selected designers competing for an impressive prize package at the gala event on April 30th at The Carlu.

The Finalists

The distinguished TFI New Labels judges, TNT boutique owner Arie Assaraf, Target Divisional Merchandise Manager Elisha Ballantyne, Target Senior Vice President, Merchandising, John Morioka, celebrated fashion designer David Dixon, philanthropist Suzanne Rogers, and FLARE Editor Miranda Purves, took on the difficult task of selecting the four finalists.

A diverse group of womenswear designers, the finalists include fashion-forward Canadian-Japanese design duo SEVENTHIRTYONE, understated and elegant label Paria Shirvani, contemporary dress and separates brand Christopher Paunil, and artistic, original, printed pieces by Sarah Stevenson Design.

The Prize

This year's victor will win a spectacular prize package of $25,000 cash awarded by TFI supporter Suzanne Rogers, an unparalleled opportunity to create an exclusive collection to be sold in Target stores across Canada in 2014, and a full-page editorial feature in FLARE Magazine.
