Four voile shows, presenting latest spring/summer trendy designs, created by Pakistan’s leading textile houses like Ittehad Textiles, Sitara Textiles, Moon Textiles and Lala Textiles opened the second day of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week (PSFW).

Karachi-based fashion designer Shehla Chatoor featured a Greek-inspired resort collection at the event. Made of silk and chiffon, the ensembles included gowns, jumpsuits, evening dresses, cocktail skirts, togas and leather shorts detailed with gold leather and peek-a-boo cut outs.

Somal Halepoto presented an innovative contrast heavy collection titled Bahaar. Meant for the dynamic women of today, the line showcased straight short kurtas, blazers, ponchos, chiffon tops, culottes and capris.

Designer Ayesha Hashwani featured an understated and stylish collection on the same day. Incorporating animal-prints with luxe silk, the designer created monochromatic pants, capes, prêt evening dresses and separates with long bell sleeves, different coloured linings and tasselled fringes.

Nicki Nina showcased a regal, rich collection titled Swinging Byzantium at the event. Infused with metallic accents and cutwork, the medieval era influenced range included stripped and sheer pants, micro minis and ultra chic dresses and slinky jumpsuits.
