Pakistan’s Lakhany Silk Mills, Shariq Textiles, Nimsay Redefining Style by Nimra Textiles and Firdous Cloth Mills kicked off the penultimate day of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2013 with their latest spring/summer voile collections.

Pakistani fashion talent Zonia Anwaar presented a colourful range based on a vibrant palette inspired from Moscow’s Kremlin. Incorporating cowl backs with practical silhouettes, the line featured jumpsuits, pants and blouses with stripes and abstract prints.

Nida Azwer presented a classy, chic wearable collection titled ‘The William Morgan & Morris’ on the same day. Drawing inspiration from the floral and animal motifs of 1880s, the collection’s trendy high hemline dresses featured flowy silhouettes.

Designer Rizwan Beyg offered his own interpretation of truck art at the event. Incorporating deconstructed tailoring, flora and fauna prints and worn-out handkerchief hemlines, the ensembles included menswear waistcoats, hoodies, jackets and jeans.

Design talent Layla Chatoor’s pristine range ‘Ayesha – all the leaves are brown’ was based in pious cream and off-white shades. The stunning elegant dresses were decorated with silver piping and flowers.
