Saudi Arabian designers presented their latest collections at a recently concluded three-day exhibition and fashion show held in Jeddah.

Nearly 30 designers and brands, both from Saudi Arabia and neighbouring countries, showcased their different collections, which included wedding gowns, abayas, apparels and accessories.

Alkhayal, which organized the event, said it will organize the exhibition on an annual basis. It will also offer a web platform to Saudi designers, Arab News reported quoting Afaf Al-Atafi, exhibition director at Alkhayal.

The proposed website would enable designers to get noticed by investors, Al-Atafi said.

Abaya designer Rawda Salami and wedding fashion designer Aziza Mohammadi were among those who participated in the exhibition, organized in association with the Women Welfare organization under the patronage of Princess Latifa Thunayan.

Other fashion designers like Awayma Azoz, Karen Millen, Asma Bagader, Samhar Edris, Liyla Wazna, Demetrios and Qwayma Azoz also participated in the three-day event.
