The fourth edition of Asia’s biggest fashion trade event Asia Fashion Exchange (AFX), which aims to position Singapore as the continent’s leading fashion hub, is going to be held from May 13 to 19, 2013.

Expected to attract high-profile bigwigs from the international fashion industry, the week-long glamorous soiree will include four key events—Blueprint, Asia Fashion Summit, Audi Fashion Festival and Audi Star Creation.

Serving as a doorway to the Asian fashion trade, Blueprint is an international exhibition that helps in fostering business opportunities among foreign and local buyers as well as designers. The expo would feature more than 180 brands from various countries, including South Korea, Thailand, France and Taiwan.

Acting as a premier business networking conference, Asia Fashion Summit would hold seminars and discussions on topics ranging from the new customer groups in Asia and right handling of social networks for brands to trend and business strategies. The event would gather nearly 200 industry executives representing upmarket labels like Galeries Lafayette and Abercrombie & Fitch.

The glitzy lifestyle and glamorous soiree Audi Fashion Festival will showcase a range of exclusive collections by top and emerging international and Asian designer labels, such as Venezuelan-American fashion designer Carolina Herrera, home-grown brand Raoul and Singaporean label Zardoze.

The Star Creation event is a regional fashion design competition for spotting the up and coming design talents of the country.
