Several well-known international and Asian fashion design talents showcased their eclectic clothing lines at the recently concluded fifth edition of Singapore’s glitzy lifestyle and glamorous soiree Audi Fashion Festival (AFF).

Venezuelan-American fashion designer Carolina Herrera and her daughter Carolina Herrera de Baez opened the five-day-long event with their Fall-2013 ready-to-wear and bridal collections for both men and women.

Singaporean brand Raoul drew inspiration from European artists, designers and visionaries like Serge Lutens, Madame Gres, Leon Bakst and Yves Saint Laurent for its latest collection showcased on the second day of AFF. Accentuated with 1960s shapes and multiple prints, the range included sharply-cut pantsuits, tabard shift dresses and bronze brocade skirts.

Under the guidance of Filipino creative director John Paul Rangel, home-grown label Zardoze staged a spectacular catwalk show featuring its second ready-to-wear collection as well as its couture-style formal gown range Panthea at the event.

The glitzy lifestyle and glamorous soiree AFF was organized as part of the Asia’s biggest fashion trade event Asia Fashion Exchange (AFX) that aims to position Singapore as the continent’s leading fashion hub.
