The crème-de-la-crème of 16 different fashion institutions from 11 countries participated at the International Fashion Show, which opened the second day of UK’s Graduate Fashion Week 2013.

Final-year students belonging to Turkey, Taiwan, Israel, Japan, United States, Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, Norway and Pakistan presented their exquisite collections before an eclectic panel of judges.

Young fashion talent Angus Chiang from Taiwan’s Shih Chien University won the Best International Collection award for his futuristic, psychedelic coloured spacemen suits.

Other than the international catwalk presentation, the event also featured creations from the students of the University of Creative Arts in Rochester. The designs included clean cut and structured statement pieces as well as flowing white dresses with occasional acidic dashes.

Founded in 1991, Graduate Fashion Week is a non-profit event that serves as a platform to encourage Britain’s up and coming designers.
