Copenhagen Fashion Week reveals judges for Designers' Nest

"It is always exciting and inspiring to see new designers work and how they express their personal style and what they see as the future of the fashion scene. Their choice of material and the material compositions is also something I look forward to, "said David Andersen, who is a member of the jury in the Designers' Nest.

Besides David Andersen, the fashion blogger Pernille Theisbæk is the new President of the jury along with Julie Fagerholt, designer Heartmade, Paola Suhonen, designer Ivana Helsinki and Margrethe Dal Thomsen, purchasing director, Magasin du Nord.

"I particularly look for those designers who have edge, surprises and create innovation, but at the same time can think commercially. The art is not only in designing, but thinking all the way to the customer's wardrobe! Does it sell? "asks Margrethe Dal Thomsen.

Paula Suhonen, the designer behind Ivana Helsinki, will especially keep an eye on original ideas that communicate a strong vision and history

"I expect to see authentic passion. Designers who give something of themselves. Ideas with a depth that touches you. I look for a combination of madness and the ability to create a conceptual and aesthetic powerful device that makes sense. A mixture of chaos and control, "Paola Suhonen explains.
