Fashion and ballet, the most artistically defined combination, will once again merge at the forthcoming New York City Ballet’s annual Fall Gala evening, which will feature exotic ballet costumes created by three extremely talented fashion experts.

Design-trio Prabal Gurung, Olivier Theyskens and Iris van Herpen have collaborated with the world famous choreographers like Benjamin Millepied, Justin Peck and Angelin Preljocaj to design costumes for the three ballet performances that will be premiered on the gala night.

Scheduled to be held on September 19, 2013, the event will be chaired by the famous American actress and ballet enthusiast Sarah Jessica Parker.

In the past, many other designers like Rodarte, J. Mendel, Nanette Lepore and Valentino have designed costumes for the New York City Ballet, which is one of the foremost dance companies in the world, with an impressive roster of over 100 extraordinary dancers.
