More than 1400 participants from Colombia and other Latin American countries attended the just concluded sixth edition of Colombian fashion-related event Ixel Moda.

Aiming to highlight the flourishing creative industry of the entire Latin American region, the three-day-long event was organized in Colombia’s northern coastal city of Cartagena.

The soiree attracted several fashion professionals, academicians, students and designers from the world’s leading fashion institutions and companies.

Spanish fashion brand Custo Barcelona, owned by designer Custo Dalmau, showcased a spectacular runway collection titled ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

Accentuated with graphic patterns and futuristic designs, the Autumn-Winter 2013 range featured baroque dresses, cropped jackets with patchwork, printed shirts and mini jerseys.

In addition to classical catwalk shows, workshops conducted by industry experts and educative discussions on topics like forthcoming international trends were also hosted at the event.
