Salvadoran textile firms partake in 'Sourcing at Magic'

Textile and clothing industries from the Central American nation of El Salvador participated in the trade show ‘Sourcing at Magic’, which concluded recently in Las Vegas, in the US.
 
Entrepreneurs of textile and apparel companies from El Salvador participated in the trade fair to establish contacts with potential investors and firms attending the event, as well as to show international textile industry representatives the advantages Salvadoran companies possessed in terms of production of textiles and apparel. 
 
The Government of El Salvador, through the Agency for Promotion of Exports and Investments of El Salvador (PROESA) encouraged the participation of the textile companies at the largest textile and apparel fair in US.
 
Five textile and apparel firms from El Salvador—Textufil Company, Hilosa, Integra Textiles, Starland Commerce Inc. and Synthetic Cluster—participated in the four-day event.
 
‘Sourcing at Magic’ is the biggest textile and apparel event in the US that allows access to more than 40 countries representing the world’s major markets.
 
The trade expo displays clothing and accessories of more than 1,100 companies participating from various countries.
 
Also known as the world’s most extensive fashion sourcing event, 'Sourcing at MAGIC' is where brands, designers and sourcing executives gain access to global resources spanning the entire supply chain, according to the event website.
