An exhibition, featuring some of the iconic costumes worn by the veteran American actress Glenn Close, will be on display at the Muscarelle Museum of Art, located in The College of William & Mary, Virginia.

Titled as ‘Glenn Close: A Life in Costume’, the exhibit, which will showcase ensembles donned by the actress in her most popular film, theatre and television performances, is scheduled to take place from September 29, 2013 to January 12, 2014.

The exhibits will include a black negligee with coque feather trims, sported by Close in 101 Dalmatians and 102 Dalmatians movies, a python printed velvet dress (from 102 Dalmatians), an 18th century styled gown (Dangerous Liaisons), as well as a bronze bustier and gold chiffon skirt (from 1985 film Maxie).

A six-time Academy Award nominee, the 66-year-old actress was nominated for her performances in films like Fatal Attraction (1987), Dangerous Liaisons (1988) and Albert Nobbs (2011).
