Swedish folklores and classical eras played muses for The Swedish School of Textiles’ fashion design students who showcased their avant-garde designs at the recently held Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm.

The institution’s young talented designers like Anna Margareta Svensson, Elias Högberg, Emelie Ahlnér and Emelie Arvidsson featured their eclectic ensembles made from a variety of materials, including hand-tufted wool and technical performance fabrics.

In addition to the up and coming design talents, a range of other well-known Swedish names also presented their latest Spring/Summer 2014 collections at the three-day-long fashion fest.

The popular fashion house Dagmar featured an exclusive range, replete with the calm breezy vibes of spring season. The easy wearable line of knitwear and dresses showcased a trendy sporty edge.

Designer label J. Lindeberg presented a mixed collection both for men and women. The line included sporty technical outerwear for men and biker jackets and blazers for women.
