Nine garment companies from Kyrgyzstan are taking part in the ongoing 21st edition of CPM- Collection Premiere Moscow 2013 trade show in Russia.

The country is participating in the show organized by Igedo Company, for the second time, as the show gives Kyrgyz enterprises the opportunity to present their products manufactured in CIS, eastern European countries as well as Russia.

Russia is the largest consumer market for the textile and garment industry of Kyrgyzstan, and 90 percent of Kyrgyz production is exported to the country.

A total of 36 Spanish companies are also partaking in the highly popular Moscow trade show, which will run till September 7, 2013.

Spanish participation has once again been organized by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), where 36 companies are representing 41 menswear, womenswear and kidswear brands.

Russia is now a key market for Spanish companies in the textile sector, and is the tenth largest importer of Spanish garments, accounting for 3 percent of the total garment exports from Spain. In 2012, Spanish textiles exports to Russia rose to €181.8 million, increasing by 19 percent compared to 2011.

Collection Premiere Moscow (CPM) is the major fashion exhibition for the Russian market and former Soviet republics, and this year the trade show is celebrating completion of 10 years.
