Sunstar Expositions has planned a major wedding exhibition, 'Wedding in Style 2006', at Hotel Maharaja Regency in Ludhiana.
The event will be held from April 7 to 10 this year and is the first of its kind to be organized here.
Best of jewellery, bridal wear, footwear, fashion accessories, trousseau, wedding planning, food and photography will all be showcased here.
Elite collection of cars and bikes will also be exhibited, which will be a tough job as Ludhiana is a house to the largest number of car owners in the country.
Punjab caters to one of the country's biggest marriage industry- amounting to Rs500 crore and is growing every year.
Such fairs will also be held in Indore, Baroda, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi as well as the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
