An array of delightful Spring/Summer 2014 looks, ranging from edgy and classy to exotic and out of the world, were featured at the recently concluded Canadian revelry Montreal Fashion Week.

Held in the city of Griffintown, Quebec, the four-day-long fest was opened by the Iranian born fashion designer Pedram Karimi’s youth-inspired apparel line.

Based on a soft palette of white, grey, pink, mint and black, the light-weight yet voluminous ensembles were made from materials like twill, crepe, canvas, cotton, rayon, nylon and silk.

Fashion label Helmer presented an haute couture collection decorated with feathers and net bows at the prestigious do. Replete with the brand’s signature patchwork, the line included embroidered bustier, boleros, lace playsuits and pretty dresses.

Rush Couture, from Jamaican designer Claudette Floyd, offered a heady mix of comfort and sensuality through its latest chic sophisticated range. The line featured dresses, pants, tunics, tops and flared skirts in watercolour prints.
