Pennsylvania-native Tory Burch kicked off the sixth day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York with her garden fresh Spring/Summer-2014 collection.

Inspired from the 1969 Italian-French film ‘La Piscine’, the effortlessly chic line featured sexy separates and bejewelled canvas dresses in simple silhouettes detailed with coral beads.

Drawing inspiration from the works of famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, the Indian-born American fashion designer Naeem Khan displayed an extravagant range, replete with beading and layers of lace based on vivid tones of warm reds.

In addition to the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, the 55-year-old designer also unveiled the first look of his soon-to-be-released maiden bridal line at the event.

Internationally-renowned bridalwear queen Vera Wang gave an athletic punch to her spring creations. The 64-year-old New Yorker played with panels of mesh and layered chiffon in her latest line which includes halter gowns, camisoles, jersey dresses and baseball jackets in peppy shades of red, yellow and blue.
