Park Geun-hye, the current and the first woman President of South Korea, has recently catwalked at a friendship fashion show, held in the Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi.

On her official trip to Vietnam, the 61-year-old politico walked down a 10-metre-long ramp, with a bunch of professional models, showcasing traditional attires from both Vietnam and South Korea.

Clad in the South Korean traditional costume hanbok, the lady’s eclectic ensemble featured a silver thread embroidered ivory top worn with a red tie and a light-yellow full skirt.

Other than the President’s outfit, the event also highlighted 34 hanboks and 34 ao dais (Vietnamese attire), designed by a joint group of 17 Korean and two Vietnamese designers, such as Lee Yong-ju (Korea) and Lan Huong (Vietnam).

The fashion show was attended by nearly 300 prominent personalities, including the Vietnamese Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan and Culture Minister Hoang Tuan Anh.
