There were many positive discussions around Nexgen’s diversity of techniques & applications and specifically how relevant they were with what is trending. Nexgen debuted a new environmentally friendly price ticket available in both white and eco craft.

Deyao found that customers were really drawn to their indigo yarn dyed shirting. The collection was designed by Paul Vogel and had a great response to the quality, patterns and color combination. Deyao also offered a new item this season - a super stretch sateen denim collection. The price, weight, color and hand feel provided a versatile range of style options for the design teams.

LST Laser reported that most visitors liked their new line of coated garments with full-body laser print as it gives a unique look. Also popular were fabrics with shiny coatings, which designers felt would make perfect party pants. LST’s Laser systems are specifically designed and calibrated to print detailed designs on garments.

Advance Denim debuted white selvage denim at Kingpins Hong Kong and had great success with their super stretch color denim, which has 50% stretch ability, 85% recovery, 7-9% shrinkage and 4% growth. The stretch series is available in three bright colors as well as indigo and grey tones.

Kurabo International reported that a super stretch fabric made with back side brush and vintage selvage denim were strong performers at Kingpins Hong Kong. Blue Diamond had a strong reaction to cotton/rayon/polyester/spandex blend fabrications, which has soft hand feel, excellent recovery and growth at a good price.

Siddiqsons said that its newest offering, Supplex Denim – registered product of Invista, garnered a lot of interest. Supplex has never been used in denim before. Supplex Denim has a super soft hand feel and drape, Siddiqsons said.

Base Wealth reported that the most popular item in their booth was super stretch printed denim because of its comfort, soft handfeel and latest trend of printing. Their newest item this season was a new collection of dualFX denim. Besides being high stretch and recovery, the collection is available in light to dark washes.
