Dreamy ensembles in sherbet hues played vividly on the catwalk of Italian luxury brand Fendi, which presented an ethereal light-inspired Spring/Summer 2014 collection on the second day of Milan Fashion Week.

Designed by the brand’s Artistic Director of 48 years Karl Lagerfield, the organza-rich line featured one-shouldered, ankle-length layered dresses, Roman-style loose fitting outfits, sheer short-sleeved tops and graphic patterned skirts.

Internationally acclaimed design talent Miuccia Prada showcased an innovative glittery range punched with a high-glam quotient on the same day of the event. Accentuated with pop art murals, the ensembles include knitwears, rainbow-patterned overcoats, pleated skirts and striped leg warmers.

Contemporary fashion label MaxMara presented a mixed collection of playful and semi-formal attires at the event. Based on both monochromes and neutral shades with sudden splashes of orange, green, fuchsia, royal blue and purple, the line featured rompers, jumpsuits, sheath dresses, sheer hosiery and jackets.

Designer Roberto Cavalli’s sub label Just Cavalli celebrated the breezy summer nights of islands in its latest collection. Decorated with exotic flowers and pearls, the range included light dresses, winged skirts and an array of shiny laminated fabric made pieces.
