'Wearability' of the products has been the primary emphasis of designers participating the Wills Fashion Week this year.
However, the glamorous era of the 1950-1960s has also been explored in depth by several prominent players.
For instance, Kavita Bhartia's collection was inspired by stunning yester year Hollywood starlet, Audrey Hepburn, who dominated Hollywood in late 50s and early 60s.
Collection had an elegant and royal look and comprised mainly of flowing skirts paired with styled tops.
Fabrics used included velvets, silks, cottons along with smooth, shining leather and embellished with chic laces and embroidery.
Charismatic chudidaars and skin hugging tights were matched with halter tops, hip shirts and bustiers.
The range also showcased sensational sarees as well as ponchos and kaftans.
Colours used were mostly in the shades of black, gold and silver, which blended well with the striking ornamentations on the dresses.
