The seventh edition of the Latino Fashion Week, which was themed ‘The Journey’, just concluded in the US city of Chicago, showing creations from a range of supremely talented designers belonging to more than 13 countries.

Around 20,000 people attended the five-day long soiree, the only fashion event in the US that is entirely dedicated to highlight the works of local, national and international Latino designers.

Mexican design talent Carolina Vásquez presented her latest teenage apparel collection Ragazza at the event. The line included several flouncy flowing feminine outfits for the Quinceañera ceremony.

Andrea Barrero, the Chicago-based Colombian fashion creator, showcased a very simple yet elegant vintage style collection. Inspired from the designs of Italian fashion designer Valentino, the range featured classic hand-sewn dresses.

Puerto Rican native Giovannie Kelvin displayed various formalwear ensembles at the Latino event. Aimed at professional women of 30 to 35 years of age, the modern pieces were made from luxe materials like French lace and silk satin.
