About 300 leading jewellers head to Expo Centre today

Modern exhibition center Expo Centre Sharjah is organizing a five-day bi-annual event MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show. Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will support this show.

The Middle East's most popular and widely visited jewellery event, the MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show, is all set for a grand opening on April 10, 2006. In its twentieth edition this year, the Show will host over 300 leading jewellers from across the world including a large number of new participants.

Among prominent overseas jewellers who are taking part in the event for the first time are Artisan Aterlier, Forever Jewels, Maruta, Kim Keat, Soo Kee, and Tian Pon Jewellery from Singapore, China-based Marveli and Zhuji City Yijiahong Import and Export Company, India-based M.L. Jewels, Dhruv Star, Surana Enterprises, Shreela Diamonds, and Truthfine Jewellers, Italian jeweler Issimo, Thailand's Gems Beam, and A.H. M, Faux Bijoux, Gulian designs, HB jewels, Magistrial Swiss, Malek Jewels, and Saoud Jewellery from Lebanon.

First time participants from within the UAE include Abida Jewellery, Gem Mart, L. Sunderdas Zaveri, Modern Life Watches, Rosa Gems and Profit Gems.

Visitors to the exhibition will be treated to a vast collection of exquisitely crafted classic and contemporary jewellery from across the world including Bahrain, Hong Kong, China, India, Italy, Jordan, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, and the UAE.
