Several talented Ukrainian designers, alongside a group of avant-garde fashion talents from Georgia, Russia, Great Britain and India, presented their eclectic Spring/Summer 2014 collections at the 33rd edition of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

The most famous and seasoned Ukrainian designer Lilia Poustovit opened the six-day-long event with her line full of contrasting prints. Based on a cheerful palette of blue, white and pink, the light fabric made ensembles were decorated with polka dots, checks and stripes.

Designer Olga Alonova opted for a more feminine look for the next spring season. Made from gentle fabrics and decorated with simple geometric prints, the bright pink, blue and white coloured line included light evening dresses and business suits.

Inspired from the world’s third highest volcanic structure Teide Volcano in Spain, the fashion label Elena Reva presented an artistic collection accentuated with landscape patterns painted by the well-known Ukrainian artist Nakonechnaya Lada Vladimirovna.

Luxury womenswear brand KamenskihKononova featured an interesting velvet and silk made line based on a variety of silhouettes and textures, including its signature yellow concrete one.

Designer Elena Burba showcased a romantic collection titled Agrochic at the soiree. Inspired from the bright sunny atmosphere of Tuscany, Italy, the powdery-hued ensembles were made from translucent fabrics.

Flowers of spring played muse in Irene Diehl’s designs, which were exotically enhanced with original embroidery, floral designs and prints.
