IPMI designers showcase at JFW on Day-3

Still in the sparkling of the biggest event in the fashion world, Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 were back to amaze fashion enthusiasts through its last show on the third day.

The show presented the works of 8 Indonesian talented designer, members of Ikatan Perancang Mode Indonesia (IPMI) or Indonesian Fashion Designers Association.

Located at the fashion tent Senayan City, the 8 designers, namely Era Soekamto, Tri Handoko, Barli Asmara, Kanaya Tabitha, Liliana Lim, Yogie Pratama, Danny Satriadi and Mel Ahyar, successfully showcased a series of captivating collections.

The evening dress parade, haute couture, and casual clothing appeared under a big theme “Traverse”. The theme reflected their desire to describe the fashion journey from time to time in a modern way.

This year’s collections were inspired by the acculturation of Chinese, western, and Indonesia. A detailed ornamentation technique on the clothing appeared mesmerizing perfectly combined with brocade and sequins. Attractive clothing with selected motif also appeared.

The show was nicely packed with dramatic and spectacular collections of the 8 designers. The audience was stunned by their fresh idea interpreted in every stroke of their designs.
