Promod, the brand founded in France, showcased their Fall/Winter collection on the third day of the 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week.

The 24 winter wear clothes divided into two distinguished themes contained a domination of wool and polyester.

The first theme, “Folk”, was influenced by the cultures of Tibet and Guatemala; this was transformed into the predicted “It” color palette for winter: red, turquoise and emerald. The comfortable casual wear also carried out the playful Aztec pattern and modish weaving detail.

Different from “Folk”, the second theme took the “Big City Babes” vibe as inspiration resembled in “City Woman”.  Referring to the big city fashion like normally seen in New York, the collection in this second theme was rather feminine with a plenty of floral details, tapestry, and sophisticated embroidery.

The materials used were not limited to wool and polyester as there were also a variation of faux leather and jacquard. Also seen was the emboss detail garnishing modern colors into colder ones such as black, white, grey and blue.

With the more mature major look, “City Woman” is suitable for career women who fancy the professional-yet-stylish look.
