After touring several European cities, the music-inspired fashion exhibit Hard Rock Couture has arrived in the Spanish city of Barcelona.

The exhibit tagged as 'Treasures of the Hard Rock' features an expansive collection of iconic costumes worn by some of the biggest names in rock and pop genres.

Scheduled to run through November 2, 2013, the event offers the visitors an in-depth knowledge of the inter-dependent relationship between music and fashion.

Currently running at the Hard Rock Café restaurant in Barcelona, the exhibit features memorable stage gears sported by music legends like John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Madonna, Freddie Mercury and Elvis Presley.

The display showcases Madonna’s Gaultier-designed golden corset from the Blonde Ambition tour and a brown suede jacket, worn by John Lennon at the cover shoot of Beatles’ 1965 album Rubber Soul.

The exhibit also includes Michael Jackson's red jacket from the Beat it video, a military jacket, donned by the American musician Brandon Flower and an over the top fashion creation worn by the young music sensation Lady Gaga.

Curated by Jeff Nolan, the Hard Rock Couture exhibition was first organized in Berlin and has later travelled to cities like Manchester and Glasgow. The exhibit will end its world tour in Lisbon.
