7th RomaFashion White highlights Lazio region creations

The just concluded seventh edition of Italian bridal fashion extravaganza RomaFashion White highlighted the creations of Lazio region, one of the 20 administrative regions of Italy known for its impressive number of fashion ateliers and skilled craftsmanship.
 
Held at the magnificent St. Paul’s Within the Walls, Episcopal Church, Rome, the event showcased an array of haute couture 2014 lines from around eight popular wedding fashion brands.
 
Brand Dream Bridal, owned by designer Sabrina Maietta, featured chiffon, satin and Chantilly lace made collection of conservative as well as innovative wedding gowns, enhanced with intricate embroidery and inserts.
 
Anna Tumas wove a very romantic and graceful picture through her latest soft silk and delicate lace range, replete with embroidery, drapery and inlays, while Rocco Rada Brides featured a flowing feminine line made using transparent, lightweight, embroidered lace.
 
Sonia Wolf, the designer behind the African Dream collection, highlighted the beauty of African continent with her natural fibre and sunset hued sparkling line of gowns, whereas ‘The 2 Islands’ label presented a capsule collection that included romantic brocade and jacquard dresses spiced up with Sicilian Baroque.
 
Fashion brand Marsil showcased its Jewel Couture Collection at the event. Featuring elegant fabrics and well-defined clean tailoring, the pastel coloured pieces reflected the 1950’s signature couture details.
 
Couture brand Mauro Gala capped off the event with its extraordinary collection of high-fashioned yet sophisticated feminine gowns.
