The forthcoming Turks and Caicos Islands Fashion Week-2014, a premiere fashion and style event of the popular tourist destination Turks and Caicos Islands, located in the Lucayan Archipelago, is slated to take place from March 26 to 29, 2014.

Due to be held in the majorly populated island of Providenciales, Caicos, the prestigious fashion do will feature an array of resort, ready-to wear, haute couture and luxury creations, for both men and women, from local and foreign designers.

International fashion labels like Bahamas’ Hardour Collection (Anthea Bullard) and House of Raphelita (David Rolle), Andrew Harris Collection from Barbados, Haitian designers David Andre and Miko Guillaume, DrennaLuna (Arlene Martin) from Jamaica and American celebrity brand Indashio will feature their latest ensembles.

Also, home-grown labels, such as Ja'D (owned by designer Kadrica Hamilton), JerittJermell (Jermell Williams) and Saint George Fashion from Kazz Forbes will present their innovative catwalk shows at the Designers' Grand Runway Fashion Show, slated to be staged on the final day of the event.

In addition to the glitzy fashion parades, the four-day-long soiree will also host the Miss Universe Turks and Caicos Pageant, a beauty competition which will be contested by young local models between the ages of 18 and 24.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are a British Overseas Territory consisting of the larger Caicos Islands and smaller Turks Islands, two groups of tropical islands in the Lucayan Archipelago, part of the larger Antilles island grouping. These islands lie southeast of Mayaguana in the Bahamas island chain and north of the island of Hispaniola.
