The Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) would be organizing a garment fair titled ‘Made in Pakistan Expo 2014’ in the Indian city of Mumbai, from April 3 to 7, 2014, with the aim of promoting made-in-Pakistan clothing in the neighboring country.

PRGMEA would also be organizing business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) meetings as part of the expo, in order to provide Pakistani apparel manufacturers and exporters the opportunity to interact with Indian buyers and avail maximum benefit from the event.

The event organized by PRGMEA in collaboration with a leading event management firm in Mumbai will provide an opportunity for Pakistani apparel exhibitors to showcase, market and sell their products, as well as establish business contacts with Indian buyers.

The expo would have 120 stalls displaying various made-in-Pakistan products including readymade garments such as casual wear, menswear, womenswear and kidswear, as well as yarn, fabrics, home textiles and more.

Organized with the support of the Federal Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan, the expo aims at developing trade relations between the two countries, especially in the apparel sector.
