The fifth edition of Kaleidoscope 2014 (KLDSCP 2014), a catwalk like platform that aims to give visibility and support to young fashion talents in the Central American nation of El Salvador, will be held on April 3, 2014.

An initiative of the Museo de Arte de El Salvador (MARTE), the event will encourage designers to create pieces based on the unique textures, crafted by the participants of Contempo, a program that backs creative talents in the field of innovation and commercial design.

Emerging names like Leyla Murillo, Ingrid Valeriano, Esau Martinez, Andrea Ayala, Marcela Vilanova, Jose de la O and Veronica Guerrero, along with previous KLDSCP participants Enrique Escalante and Luz Maria Santos, will present their 100 percent Salvadoran fabric made interpretations of the Contempo designs.

The fourth edition of KLDSCP held in April 2013 was attended by nearly 15 fashion designers and more than 800 visitors.
