From long flowing feminine dresses to designs from the past decades, the first two days of Spanish catwalk showcase MFSHOW Women have seen it all.

Fashion label Nicholas & Atienza, owned by designer duo Philippe Maire Nicholas and Eva Atienza, opened the Madrid event with its latest Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection.

Primarily inspired from Nicholas’ native country Switzerland, the line was enhanced with patterns of Swiss mountains, glaciers and flag. Mixed with elements of urban Abu Dhabi and Japan, the curve emphasizing textured pieces were made from crêpe, wool, elastane and organza.

Based on a palette of black and white along with sparks of red, the line included pants, jackets, coats and several short and long cocktail dresses.

Juan Carlos and Antonio Fernandez Burillo, the designers behind clothing label The 2nd Skin Co, presented their 1950s-inspired line on the second day of the Seagram’s Gin MFSHOW Women.

Replete with structured patterns and feminine volumes, the wool and silk made cocktail dresses and evening gowns were adorned with hand sewn flowers in red, brown and camel colours.
