French luxury house Kenzo opened the sixth day of ongoing Paris Fashion Week (PFW) with its latest graphic print and sequin heavy Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.

Created by the brand’s joint designing heads, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the line showcased skirts worn over trousers, bronze and silver strip embroidered ribbed knit separates, long quilted parkas, turtlenecks, coats, pantsuits and bustier dresses.

German Dada artist Hannah Höch and American photographer Lee Miller played as muses for fashion label Céline’s designer Phoebe Philo. Mixing elements from the 1930s looks and classic menswear styles, the line displayed oversize man-fashioned trousers, tweed knits and double-breasted black coats with revolting white buttons.

Gibraltar-born British fashion designer’s eponymous brand John Galliano presented a feather and crystal decorated collection, created by its designer Bill Gaytten. Made using velvet and neoprene, the featured pieces were flared belted dresses with sweetheart necklines, high-waisted pants and copper beaded ivory hued evening gowns.

Luxury French brand Givenchy’s Italian designer Riccardo Tisci created very feminine clothes for the PFW show. Decorated with animal prints and sheer materials, the ensembles included butterfly intarsia stitched gowns, python print sleeveless tops, long panelled black skirts, pants with banded pockets, cropped boxy jackets, beaver and astrakhan lined leopard-spotted coats and densely beaded bodices.
