Proenza Schouler, the New York-based womenswear and accessories brand, has become the subject of an exhibit at the Parisian department store Le Bon Marché’s Rive Gauche location.

Slated to run through March 22, 2014, the exhibition, set in the form of a concrete installation, will feature a film based on the American label’s designer duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.

The exhibit highlights some 80 iconic silhouettes, designed by the brand’s creative founders, reflecting the key motivational factors behind the successful brand.

Also a capsule collection, celebrating the collaboration, has been created by the same duo exclusively for the French department store.

Replete with the designers’ signature graphic prints, the vibrantly coloured line features scarves and striped sweaters as well as leather shoulder bags and totes.

Founded in 2002, Proenza Schouler was awarded with the Womenswear Designer of the Year title at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards 2013. The label had earlier won the same award twice in 2007 and 2011.

Owned by the LVMH Moët Hennessy • Louis Vuitton S.A., Le Bon Marché was founded in the year 1838.
