More than 300 companies took part in the recently concluded third edition of Portugal’s premiere textile and clothing trade fair Porto Fashion Week.

Manufacturers, specialising both in adult and children’s fashion clothing as well as accessories, showcased their latest offerings at the two-day-long event.

Held in the second largest Portuguese city of Oporto, the fair also featured a novel fashion district which showcased an array of home textiles and decoration items from 25 famous local retailers.

Other than the displays by the well-known labels, the event also presented several spring-summer catwalk shows from the country’s emerging talents.

Additionally, the technical textiles seminar titled ‘iTechStyle Innovation Business Forum’, conducted by the Technological Centre of Portuguese Textile and Clothing Industries (CITEVE), and workshops were also hosted on the sidelines of the MODtissimo/Porto Fashion Week.
