Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) organized Seminar on Brand Building for Hong Kong Jewellery on the Mainland on April 21, 2006 at Hong Kong Productivity Council. China Market Consultancy was c-organizer of the Jewlery Seminar.
Dr Stephen Lee, Director (Product Productivity) of HKPC, gives opening remarks at the Seminar on April 21st. Mr Yi Jianguo, Deputy Director-General of Trade and Industry Bureau, Government of Luohu District, Shenzhen City, introduced the latest development of the jewellery industry in the region.
More than 100 representatives from the local jewellery industry attended the Seminar on Brand Building for Hong Kong Jewellery on the Mainland to obtain the latest information on business opportunities in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region on 21 April 2006.
Jointly organized by HKPC and the China Market Consultancy, the Seminar introduced the CEPA opportunities and brand building strategies for Hong Kong jewellers, the market and industry trends in the PRD, as well as the latest trade policies of the Mainland on the jewellery industry.
Speakers of the Seminar included industry experts from Shenzhen, Panyu, Liwan and Huadu in the PRD and Hong Kong, as well as Government officials from the PRD.
HKPC is governed by a Council comprising a Chairman and 22 members. The mission is to promote productivity excellence through the provision of integrated support across the value chain of Hong Kong firms, in order to achieve a more effective utilization of resources, to enhance the value-added content of products and services, and to increase international competitiveness.
