146 firms show at Russian light industry equipments fair

Around 146 textile and clothing firms from 18 different countries are showcasing their latest products at the currently ongoing 14th edition of the International Exhibition of Equipments and Technologies in the Light Industry (INGLEMASH-2014), in the Russian city of Moscow.
 
Organized by ZAO Expocentre with the support of German exhibition firm Messe Dusseldorf, Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry (SOYUZLEGPROM) and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the four-day event is touted as the only specialized exhibition in Russia, where the equipments of all stages of textile production are presented, from processing of fiber to finished product packaging.
 
Scheduled to run till April 25, 2014, the exhibition, held every two years, aims at promoting the most modern equipments and innovative technologies for the development of the light industry, and intends to provide a platform for entrepreneurs from various different countries to demonstrate their latest achievements in textile and garments machineries sector.
 
On the sidelines of the event, SOYUZLEGPROM, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also held the 1st International Industry Forum for the ‘Russian Textile Industry: the Past and the Present – Legpromforum'2014’, where participants discussed strategic measures for development of the Russian light industry.
 
Exhibitors from 18 different countries, including Russia, Germany, Turkey and China showcased their latest products such as equipments for processing natural fibres, weaving machineries, textile finishing equipments, knitting equipments, sewing machineries, fabric cutting equipments and more at the event.
