HSY, the couture brand from talented Pakistani designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, is prepping up to unveil an affordable bridalwear label titled The Orchid Collection.

Inspired from the beauty of orchid flowers, the line will be a mix of varied fabric textures and bright colours like fuchsia, purple and pink. Decorated with intricate embroidery, the range will feature an array of smartly layered separates.

The line will be officially debuted on May 11, 2014, at the forthcoming eighth edition of Pantene Bridal Couture Week (PBCW) and would be available for sale from May 15, 2014 onwards at HSY’s store in Lahore.

Slated to take place from May 9 to 11, 2014, in Karachi, PBCW will feature latest wedding fashion collections from more than 20 young and experienced fashion designers.

With nearly seven shows scheduled to be staged in the course of three days, the soiree will be opened by designer Amir Adnan’s menswear collection Mun Kunto Maula, which is lavishly decorated with screen printing, tilla and gold metallic thread work.

Other than Adnan, the first day will also see a range from Kuki Concepts’ designer Zahid Khan. Titled as Bidai, the collection will feature traditional bridal designs, adorned with gotta patti work, in a vibrant colour palette.

Mansoor Akram, Sana Abbas, Zainab Chottani, Tena Durani and Nomi Ansari will also showcase their creations at PBCW.
