A talented concoction of local as well as Argentine designers showcased their latest interpretations for the autumn-winter season trends at the just held edition of the Chilean fashion fest Santiago Fashion Week 2014.

Homegrown names like Pato Moreno, Sebastian Del Real, Ten Piedad, Rodrigo Valenzuela, Creado X Nosotras and Romano presented several colourful, innovative leather and wool heavy prêt-a-porter lines, comprised of jersey tops, cozy ponchos, and straight and baggy trousers, at the three-day soiree.

Drawing inspiration from the Byzantine Empire, Argentinean brand Pampacorral featured a modern and distinctively textured collection meant for young urban women. Based in shades of blue and purple, the sheep wool crafted pieces included edgy dresses and smartly cut pants.

Another Argentine designer Ricky Sarkany displayed a varied line made entirely from leather. Based in a monochrome palette of blacks and whites alongside pops of dark red, the featured ensembles were dresses, shorts, pants and sleeveless fur jackets.
