Reservations of booths began in the 10th Buy Pinoy Exporters Exhibition at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City for the period 9 to 13 August 2006 by the exporters and suppliers of home-grown Philippine products.

Project Development Department of the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Incorporation (Philexport), invited while announcing that early birds and return exhibitors will be provided substantial discounts on contribution fees.

The Buy Pinoy Export Fair started in 2002 to unlock entry to Filipino shopper's global products and build a wider home market for Philippine exports.

Buy Pinoy Movements continuing actions endorsed local support to Philippine products.

Superlative holiday decor, house ware, giftware, fashion accessories, footwear and other leather goods, furniture and furnishings, fresh and processed food are projected to be displayed in the August exporters' fair.

The exporters fair has ever since developed into an establishment, expected by wholesale and retail shoppers twice a year at the same site, and hauling in millions of pesos in booked and cash sales.

Owing to the triumph of these local fairs, the umbrella union of exporters did an experimental fair in San Francisco, California all through the holiday shopping season previous year. This led to a verdict to stage other exporters' fairs in either Hawaii or Hong Kong this year.
